Terms of use

These terms cover your use of the website at shieldlens.elevian.io and any trial of the ShieldLens Pro software you obtain through it. ShieldLens Pro is published by Elevian.io. By visiting the site or requesting a trial you agree to these terms.

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and operate ShieldLens Pro on your own hardware for a 30-day evaluation period. The trial unlocks every paid feature.

You may not: redistribute the binary, reverse-engineer the software (except as required by applicable law), use it to provide a hosted service to third parties without a written MSSP agreement, or remove copyright or licence notices.

You agree not to use ShieldLens Pro to:

• process logs from networks you do not own, manage, or have explicit authorisation to monitor,
• conduct or facilitate any unlawful surveillance, or
• evade sanctions or export-control restrictions applicable to you.

Trial download links are tied to your email address, expire seven days after issue, and may be used up to five times. We may rate-limit, suspend or terminate access if we suspect abuse, fraud, sanctioned use, or breach of these terms.

See our privacy notice for what we collect, why, and how long we keep it. The ShieldLens product itself runs on your hardware and does not send telemetry back to us.

The trial is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Operating a security monitoring tool is an operational responsibility; you remain responsible for the configuration of your firewalls and the decisions you make based on ShieldLens outputs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elevian.io will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use or inability to use the trial. Our aggregate liability for any direct damages is limited to USD 100.

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date will change. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Karachi unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country provides otherwise.
